A Summer To Remember.

A picture of what my bike looks like. Its not
the exact bike though.
This summer impacted me in many ways, because of the things that happened during it. Some things that happened were really great, and good. Although many things that happened were very hard for me to deal with. Over the summer, I lost my two best friends. Courtney and Cierra, i guess you could say that they betrayed me, or stabbed me in the back. It was much more than that though, and it sucked, big time. Its always sad when someone you thought you could trust ends up hurting you. Especially when its your best friends of three years. While loosing two friends, i gained one really great friend. Nicole. Which was pretty good because she helped me get through that.

The second bad thing that happened this summer was the hardest for me to deal with. A lot of people think that when your my age you cant be in love, but that’s not true at all. You can definitely be in love, and i was. I was in a relationship with Kyle (not saying the last name) since i was 11 and since he was 13. So, pretty much we dated for 5 years. This for someone my age is a REALLY long time. Though, when we were younger we weren’t serious, but over the years we became really serious. Then all of a sudden, he broke up with me this summer. My heart was broken, and it still is, but im getting over it.

Lets get to the good things! Enough of the sad, heartbreak stuff. A lot of good things happened to me this summer too. The best thing was when my grandpa bought me my first dirt bike. I was so excited when i found out, because I had always wanted to ride one; now i finally had one of my own! When i first got on my dirt bike, ohh, it was love at first ride! I cant explain how it is to ride it, its like a rush of adrenaline. Its so fun, I never want to get off once I’ve gotten on. I also rode a quad at my grandpas, but the dirt bike is so much better. I went swimming a lot this summer; my grandma has a Enormous pool. I went to a lot of parties, and family get togethers which was fun. I spent a lot of my summer in Obetz, with my family. Which sounds boring, but it wasn’t because I can ride bikes where ever I want, walk where ever I want, ride dirt bikes, go swimming, fun stuff like that.

Something really, really fun that I did this summer was going to the Franklin County Fair. The only not fun thing about that was running into my ex… but that’s another story. At the fair I watched the Derby, which was super fun and exciting! I rode basically every single ride, except for the one where you have to stand up and it spins you around. It was too scary for me to ride. I got to eat really delicious food; Chinese food! The fair was just a blast. I also went to the zoo, twice. The first time was fun, but the second time was even better because I got to see the Polar bears up close. They were just so adorable! They kept tackling each other into the water, it was so funny. I also had all of these birds flying on me, there was seriously three birds sitting on my lap. It was scary and fun all at the same time.

This summer was most definitely a summer that I will always remember. I will remember the good times and of course the bad times. Hopefully, next summer will be just as fun; without all the devastating bad things.
